    I think a laser sight on a weapon with a 2" barrel is a bit absurd, but that's a fine choice. 125grn SJHP .38 +P used to have around an 85% 1-shot-stop rate, IIRC. Certainly better than a sharply-worded letter!

    I agree. I tried using it and realized that as a back up/defensive weapon you wouldn't have time to engage the laser anyway. Other than that it is a good weapon and I'm happy with it.
