Video of Masahiko Kimura
An awesome YouTube video of the great Judoka Masahiko Kimura. This video is from when he was well into his 60s. Enjoy!

As you know, I know nothing about Judo (or much of anything really), but I can see when something is good. That was a very impressive video, of a man who has the kind of skills that don't need a lot of chat. He can do the work. Even I can see that.

Great video Robert...funny story I know a guy who teaches jiu-jitsu and has taught the kimura the entire time, even calls it the kimura but didn't know who Kimura was or even that the judo term is Gyaku ude-garami.

Kimura was really spectacular and it's clear that he really the definition of a master. Even at his age in the video, he moves like a cat.
Mark, I know of a few folks like that. Kimura is just some guy that fought and beat Helio Gracie, and that's about it. Few know that he's one of the Kodokan's stars!
If I can find some video of some greats like Toshiro Daigo sensei, I'll do that. He's another WOW!Robert M. Carver

That was a GREAT video! God, I love (and miss) Judo! What an art!
I realize you think you understand what you thought I said, but what I am not so sure about is whether what you think you heard is what I think I meant.

I keep finding information of Kimura, he still continues to impress me.
The man was one of the finest I have seen- Mifune aside.
Seeing him just frustrates me though, realizing that I can never be that good.
