This is so disgusting. What a hideous place and certainly not deserving of the blood shed by our finest. If it was not for the killing of innocents, I'd advocate nuking the whole country and being done with it.

You'd have to nuke a few more places. Pedopohilia and pederasty is widespread in many Islamic countries, partially because of the strict separation of males and females, and the widespread idea that women are "unclean".

This is common in Saudi too. When I was there the Saudi guys knew it was taboo to us so they would tell us about it. Sick. I am not sure about the legality in Saudi but it happens and is at least overlooked by the authorities. I also heard of this when I was in Turkey but it seemed to be a more sensitive topic.

The Middle East region is one of the few places I have gone and left with significantly less respect for the culture than before I arrived. Every other country (I've been to quite a few) that I have been to has been the opposite.

I saw a video in the past year of a Muslim wife proclaiming the good of having female "sex" slaves in their household so that their young sons would not sin. Apparently, at least from that video, Islam goes both ways.

I typed into the search engine "Female sex slavery in Islam." I got a ton of hits, many from ex-Muslims trying to expose the religion of Peace. So, as far as using boys because females are unclean, it doesn't fly. It's just sick !

Unfortunately, the article is pretty true. I work closely with a lot of Afghans and getting them to stop having sex with little boys is quite far on our to do list (as well as impossible, in my opinion). It's not that it doesn't completely disgust and repulse every military member here, it's just so ingrained into the culture of Afghanistan that it's not something I think we can get rid of.

I don't care what God(s) you worship, which sex of an adult you tend to sleep with, what political view you have, where you went to school, what color your car is or where you live. As soon as you start molesting children, the rope comes out and the tree of woe gets more fertilizer. This is unforgivable and the punishment should be DEATH every d*mn time. Our men and women are dying for THIS? No a thousand times no.
