Yeah, like this is really going to be a fair trial. If the jury pool is taken from the general populace, then Zimmerman's attorney should petition the court for dismissal because he is not going to get a fair trial.Guns don't kill people. Husbands that come home early kill people.

That is horrible.
I believe that the authorities' open toleration of illegal, threatening behavior by the New Black Panther Party and others has contributed to this lawlessness.
Anybody have an opinion on Zimmerman's bail being revoked? He misrepresented his finances to the judges as well as his possession of a second passport. Sounds damning, but may not necessarily be so. I mean, his income is at an end and he probably saw the online donor money as his only means of supporting his family.
Still, I make no secret of the fact that I do not like this guy. Morally, if not legally, I feel he is probably guilty of reckless homicide. However, like you say, Don, he is not likely to get a fair trial. Well, that's a given, imo, as he was unethically overcharged at 2nd degree murder.

I think the misrepresentation of his finances is going to hurt his credibility, particularly because him and his wife were discussing withholding information on the funds generated by legal defense fund. On the other hand, I think that he can argue that the funds from the legal defense fund were not disclosed because they weren't really his, but intended for paying lawyers and other legal matters, and not for general use the way personal funds would be.

You know, the more I look at this case, the more worried I get.
There are some, like Al Sharpton, who are adamant that Zimmerman is guilty and that it is obvious. But the evidence for a conviction of murder just does not seem to be there. If they could not put away OJ, I don't see how they can get a conviction in this case.
And what happens when he is let off, possibly as early as this summer? All those New Black Panther types are going to say that it was because the system is fundamentally racist, and a lot of idiots are going to listen to them and Sharpton. With the riots of London not too long ago, coordinated by tweets and social media, I have to worry that we may see the same thing here. There have been several race riots after police have been cleared of shooting black suspects, but AFAIK none have happened since texting and such have become popular.
I am preparing for the worse, but then again I always am prepared.Guns don't kill people. Husbands that come home early kill people.

I believe that if Zimmerman gets a fair trial, he will be found not guilty. As far as the aftermath, if you riot, commit crimes in protest of the trial or incite others to do same, you need to go to jail. That means scum like Al Sharpton as well.
