China has severe problems. The split between the hardcore military types and the more open civilan (relatively speaking) government honchos. Then there are 1 Billion plus Chinese who are getting very tired of doing without the perks of modern western capitalism. A small growing segment has gotten a taste and wants more, and then there are those who are still living as slaves of the state and want an end to that. Add to that the fact that there are not enough women for the men to marry due to selective abortions the past 40 years and the stresses on their society is huge. Interesting may be an extreme understatement.
