I think this is a good idea - a visual representation of how fiscally irresponsible Washington has become. Question is: does he mean it? Republicans hated deficits under Clinton, loved them under Bush II, and hate them again under Obama. Democrats didn't mind deficits under Clinton, abhorred them under Bush II and love them under Obama.

Is this a campaign gimmick or will Romney deliver? (or, at least, make the attempt?)
