I like Al's tone the best. He cleaner with way more clarity.
I play through a Boogie 1-12 combo it I think it sounds better on most leads than our guitar player's Marshal JCM half stack. But I not as good as out main guitar player. I'm a pianist.
You have to be careful on mic placement with the Boogie. Part of it iis probably because I mostly play Telecasters. A few months ago a sound guy was complaining because the Boogie was way too piercing through the PA. I rolled most the highs off. I checked the mic placement and they mic'd the amp up close straight on axis and you can't do that, it will cut you head off.Nastiness Prime – Soke, Honey Badger Kung Fu
