Post you guitar stuff.

I got this old guitar used when I was in high school. It has been my main axe for quite a while but sometime in the late 90s I became a Tele guy.

This is my main guitar now. A 90s Mexican Tele I got used for $175 but I spent way more than that on the electronics and new pickguard. I like the PAF in the neck.

This is my current #2 guitar. I needed something to play slide on and I didn't want to honk up the action on my other guitars. It is a cheap Chinese Fender but I really like the neck. The shielding, jack and wiring suck I had to redo the jack after 3 gigs. But it serves it's purpose and it is lightweight which I am starting to appreciate these days, especially with the outdoor summer jobs this year.

I take this guitar out sometimes. It plays great but the pickups are too hot for most of what I am doing. On the clean channel of my rig it still won't play as clean as I want.

I have some other pieces. I quit playing guitar for quite a while. I am starting to get some chops back but I am not really a guitarist. I picked the guitar back up again because a lot of the top 40 country stuff we started doing this year calls for a lot of gutar stuff. I'm still not much a guitar player but I am decent pianist. Though most probably think I am something else that sounds a lot like pianist.

Here is road amp. It small but it is too friggin heavy. I got new around 1994 or 95 and it still sounds good. I am a longtime fan of Mesa Boogie.

here is the backline from a recent job. The guy with the cowboy hat is a real guitar player. I do some leads and we do quite a bit a twin harmony leads but if it were a guitar playing contest I would be crushed ..... but I'm a keyboard player.

I spend most the night playing this.
