From what I have seen, Hirohisa Oda is simply an author writing about something he has not lived. I have not read any of his works, but they range from ninjutsu to oriental medicine. He is not a practitioner of ninjutsu, nor involved in any way with the Bujinkan or any of it's spawn. (Genbukan or Jinenkan).

I am not saying he doesn't know what he is talking about. I am just saying that if I want to read about ninjutsu, I'll pick an author who lives it, such as Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and his students.

    That's what I expected.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

    HI

    I have the book

i was a little disappointed as it was written by a japanes ewho should hve the ability to read all the japanese books on ninjutsu and omc eup with something really good in english.

personally i think its a kids book and though it was fun reading it I didnt learn anything at all form it

The best bit of fun was where he said ninja had straight swords. Just goes to show the Japanese have as much a clue about this subject as the average Bujinkan (ooh yes I mean this) and nonjapanese member
