Berlin University Dojo drop in visit Southampton 23-26th July 2004.
Dear All
Gassho
The newly recognised Berlin University dojo, 13 of them, are coming for a drop in visit weekend to Southampton University
, training at Bournemouth on the Friday night, and Southampton over the long weekend on the 23rd - 26th July.
It is planned that there will be a 5 hour
extra training session on the Saturday and they will be attending a special course with Sensei Mizuno
at Southampton University on the Sunday.
All Kenshi are welcome
at the extra Saturday session and social events are also planned for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, (
bloody students!)

Ade, one thing about announcements like this... there are readers here (and particularly "Martial Arts Planet") who assume that the seminars are "Open to all". This is one of the misconceptions that Tony had a battle on there about. You mentioned "all Kenshi"... just to confirm that the training is for existing students of Shorinji Kempo, and is not an "Open" seminar for martial artists of all/any/no style.

Ade, I see that you've found your way from e-budo. Is the Sunday session the one that's advertised as a Black Belt Course on bskf.org ? If so, does it mean that all can attend?

Open to all?
Dave et Al.
Gassho
I'm trying to clarify that.
It is listed as an official BSKF black belt course but I would like to open the courses to all with Sensei teaching all of the different grades at some point during.
But Sensei is away at the moment so it has to be wait out at present.
I'll let you know when I get an answer.

"Open to All"
For the sake of those who drop in to this forum from elsewhere, I'll repeat that "open to all", means Open to all Shorinji Kenshi. David D and Ade are not discussing whether it is open to members of other MA.David Noble
