Yeah, I read about that in the paper....it said that most people thought it was a "little" redundant.
Is that how you feel about it?

I didn't see much in there that an intelligent person with a Jr. High education wouldn't already know.
But if you ever really want to know the basics of covering your behind if things go south here is a primer:

The Sas Survival Handbook: How to Survive in the Wild, in Any Climate, on Land or at Sea
by John Wiseman
I have a copy I keep in my bug out bag. Covers most the basics pretty well.

All the government want to acheive with those booklet things is to make it out that they are doing something to prepare for any terrorist attacks. The spoof website is pretty funny. My school/college was a military run establishment so as well as doing all the school work we did lots of mandatory survival skills - made me the man I am today
lol

It is a bit like the booklet "Protect and survive", the Governments comic book on nuclear war. In that it tells you how to build a shelter, whitewash the windows, put the cat out and cancel the milk, all in under 4 minutes.
But htis new one.... lets wait and see
