Avoid Mushamono martial art supply...
Way back in May I ordered a kusari fundo from Mushamono martial art supply... they charged my credit card on May 30... June passed by and I kind of forgot about it... But by July I began to get concerned... I decided to inquire about my order... after two weeks of inquiry by email, I got a vague response and dismissal... then after a third inquiry I recieved an email on July 23 making excuses and swearing that my kusari fundo would be mailed on July 26... well here we are three weeks later and still no kusari fundo, no tracking number that would verify shipping, not even an email stating that it was shipped... This is two and a half months from when they charged my credit card (which I have listed as under dispute with my credit card company) so today I have made another inquiry and decided to come here and warn you all about the poor customer treatment of Mushamono... The excuse I keep getting is how busy they are... so perhaps someone is getting good treatment, but it sure isn't me...
May they go out of business...

This is not a new experience. I had the same about a year ago.

Sorry to hear I am not the only one this guy has screwed with... He seems to be a real piece of work...
Stephen, I wish I had read your post before I decided to order... I was hesitant because of the price, but as a kusari fundo collector decided to go ahead... we need to find a way to keep people informed of Beato's bad dealings so eventually he fades away and his company withers and dies along with his lies and deceptions...
Soulend, thanks for the offer, I think the best way to handle this is to inform everyone you can on every message board on the internet...
Cliff, Just think of it this way... maybe my wrestling is so poor I need a weapon... yeah! thats it...
thanks for the support guys, steveSteve Henderson

I had a similiar experince with Mushamona. Quite frankly, I though Ulysses went out of business.
When I ordered from him last year, I ordered the shuriken, the fundo (metal) and a few other items. It took forever, like your order. I eventually just told Ulysses to change my order to some of the clothing items he offers. I got those right away.
So I do believe him when he says he has distribution problems. But a more prudent business man would make his clients aware of any MAJOR delays before they order.
But such is the nature of business. Have you tried ordering from John Green?

Hey Jason,
I think Ulysses Beato is a new kind of marketing troll... it is almost like he borrows money from people by offering goods that he has no intention of saling and then refunds the money when he is done with it... the last thing I heard from him was that the kusari was in the mail... then I find out that he refunded the money... he has to be running some kind of scam... What kind of person doesn't even try to communicate with their customers?
lets just keep people aware of the wrong doings of Ulysses Beato and his strange little game...
take care, steveSteve Henderson

Do you mean Ed Green? (http://www.angelfire.com/ks3/green27...logframes1.htm)

Ed is a true professional to deal with and his work is above top quality, period.

I think he was referring to Jason Chambers' remark:

Sorry, I should have been better with the quoting. Yes, Ed Green fantastic. Everyone should order from him. No joke. The guy's work is awsome.

Yes, of course... I meant Ed Green's site. About the kusari, I am sure if you ask him, he can get it or make it for you. He is making me a set of custom shuko...
