Question - Rickson Gracie records ??

I'm very interested in Rickson Gracie...

I'm searching for his record-table, but can't find a thing!!

It would be nice to see a table with the following info:

    - Wins (I know it's about 400+)
    - Losses
    - KO's
    - Draws
    - Fastest KO
    - Fastest Submission

    etc..

    ------------------------------
Can some1 help me with finding such info??

Yes, I also heard the 400 wins. I looked at Sherdog and found a few things, but I'm sure a little research on the interent would get more!

Ah, yes, the great quest for Rickson's record. All I can say is, "good luck."

The closest thing to an "official" record that exists is Sherdog's fight finder which lists him as 9-0. Rickson himself claims to be 400-0, which most people seriously doubt.

First of all, by most accounts, this record includes non-MMA/challenge matches. So, basically, anytime Rickson rolled with anyone, it counts towards the 400-0. No one knows when the first official win was chalked up, and no one really know if it's supposed to include practice or what.

Additionally, I've heard from a couple of sources that Rickson lost by ippon in a Sambo tournament. However, he claims that he was unaware that a throw could end the match; he thought it was by submission on the ground, so he doesn't count it as a loss on his 400-0 record, since he didn't know the rules. I don't know how a submission grappler enters a tournament without checking to see that a throw, pin, or ippon could end the match, but that's the story I've heard.

Outside of the 9-0 listed in Fight Finder (and all of those fights are recorded), there are virtually NO official records or hard evidence of Rickson's fighting record. He's claimed quite a few titles in various tournaments, but the records seem to be difficult to track down...

    Draw your own conclusions.

He will be killed, all right, but he can't know whether he is killed because of the knowledge which he has got or because of the knowledge which he hasn't got and which if he had it, would save him."

No doubt Rickson is an awesome fighter. No doubt he would be more famous as such, and probably more rich (like Royce) if he actually got his butt out in the ring and fought!

Man, can I count every time I tossed a reluctant drunk out through a door as a "win" too? I give him all of the credit he deserves; I too don't get out in the ring and fight, but then again, I don't make a ridiculous win-loss claim.

Helio even laughed at Rickson's record on his interview on Gracie Advanced #4. Helio said if he counted all his "wins" in training, challenge matches, and such he would be in the millions.

9-0 is the official record. There is something floating around the net that is supposed to list all 400 fights but it is fake.

I read on the 'net (so take it for what it's worth) that the reason the hype came out was because of Mario Sperry's debut in MMA when he lost to Igor Zinoviev. The organization that put on the show was listing Sperry as 200-0. Rickson came back and said he was 400-0 as a way of mocking Sperry's record.
