Scheduled Live Chat
So, do you wanna chat? Well scheduled live chats are back!
We have also done a little upgrading to our chat software to make it a little easier for everyone to see if there is anyone in the chatroom. Just a reminder that the chat room software is a Java application and you need to have a Jave Virtual Machine installed on your computer. If you need to install one, go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and download the appropriate Java VM for your operating system.
If you look at the bottom of the main forum page, if there is anyone in the chatroom, you will see a "Who's chatting" area. (See the attachment). Also, in the Navigation bar at the top of the page, if you click on "Quick Links" and then "Who's Chatting" it will take you straight to a page that those everyone in the chatroom.
Although we will have scheduled chats, the chatroom is always open. So if you want to arrange a time to meet some of your fellow members there, please feel free.
Here is the scheduled times for chats
Monday - Friday: 7:00 to 11:00 PM Eastern Time (Open chat, unmoderated)
Saturday: 5:00 PM to ? Eastern Time. (Open Chat, Moderated by David Craik)
Sunday: 8:00 to 11:00 PM Eastern Time (Open Chat, Moderated by Robert Carver)
This schedule will be amended from time to time and will include topic oriented chats, so be sure to check back. Hope to see everyone in the chatroom.Robert M. Carver
